Eye On Malaysia finds new permanent home in Melaka

The Eye on Malaysia currently located at Taman Tasik Titiwangsa, Kuala Lumpur, is one of the main attractions during Visit Malaysia Year 2007 and will finally find a "permanent home" at a 2 hectare site in Melaka come year-end.

The 60m tall portable ferris wheel is the world largest and will cease operations at it's current location at the end of August 2008.
The ferris wheel have 42 air-conditioned gondolas will be placed at the Melaka Marina project site in Taman Kota Laksamana in Bandar Hilir.

The40:60 joint project between the Melaka State Government and MST AD Suria Sdn Bhd. would cost RM42million and will include a water screen display (approx RM2.5million) with aerospace walk featuring 4D projections to give visitors a feel of being in space.

This project is a separate project from the Malacca Eye located along the Melaka River banks in Jalan Hang Tuah which was built at a cost of RM3.3million and launched in November 2007.
