The World is gearing up to more holidays from nationalities worldwide as travel barriers are removed gradually easing countries around the globe to welcome travellers to their countries which would certainly evolve into a borderless travel in the near future with adoption of common travel documents.
Whatever the reason travelers have for travels, it is certainly growing into an environment of healthy tourism growth which contributes to the economic growth of a country and the people of the country. The baby-boomers would represent the largest segment of travelers for the next decade and tourism is geared to be the 3rd largest economic contributor on the global index besides entertainment and healthcare.
Countries around the world are building toursit attractions in an attempt to attract holiday makers to their country whilst those with consistent tourist arrivals are bent on increasing the length of stay in their respective country. This has envelope into the Tourism Ministries developing subsidiary tourism products such as eco-tourism, medical tourism, edu-tourism inclduing luring foreigners to adopt the country as their second home and towards permanent residence.
With competition evolving furiously among the nations, many Tourism Ministries had not forgotten to adopt technology as a marketing tool to drive tourist to their countries. This have led the Ministries in some countries to develop visitors loyalty programs to create a repeat visit using technology to integrate the whole tourism effort besides easing travel arrangements of visitors to their country.
Affordable travels e.g. air, accomodation and etc. are prominently promoted which gives more reason for an individual to have their holidays abroad while short or weekend holidays are reserved for domestic destinations.
Looking at it globally, it soon becomes an exciting array of multi culture, religion, beliefs and lifestyle which all rolls into World Tourism showcase.
Malaysia is non less exciting with tourist attractions which will definitely leave vivid memories in each travelers minds. It is a land blessed with its own uniqueness which is not found elsewhere and it all started from a humble beginning in a historical state called Melaka .........
