X'mas around Malaysia

The pine trees, bells, mistletoes, flashing lights and etc. are up few weeks ago and the mood to usher in Christmas!

Shopping centres in Kuala Lumpur are in full swing as shoppers go around doing their festive shopping while others are taking advantage of the Malaysia Year End Sales to look for bargain buys. It is a hive of activity in shopping centres with the X'mas songs adding spice to the yuletide.

Pavilion, have "simulated" snowfalls around the building and during the evenings, one would be able to enjoy "snow" which is an unfamiliar sight for a country like Malaysia. The X'mas carols and lighted reindeer decorations adds further to a sight of a white christmas.

Not to be outdone, Suria KLCC had their gingerbread house in the centre court together with a car wrapped in a gift box courtesy of Ralph Lauren assisted by few Santarinas.


Elsewhere, Jusco AU2 Keramat had decided to go on an eco-friendly X'mas celebrations with X'mas trees made on mineral water bottles and another made of egg trays. It's real ingenuity and pure creative on the part of the management.

Portuguese Settlement had a head start with the residents in the settlement had begun decorated their houses about a week ago for the annual X'mas decoration competition and had always been a crowd puller during X'mas.
