Bandar Hilir English School Celebrates 100 Years Of Founding

Bandar Hilir English School (BHES) or now called SK Bandar Hilir was established in 1908 and was one of the feeder schools to Malacca High School (MHS). BHES celebrated her 100 years of founding on 14th. June 2008.

The Parents Teachers Association and the School organized the Grand Dinner of more than 100 tables on Saturday, 14th. June 2008 with a bumper turnout of 1200 people from all walks of life including prominent old boys and their family members, teachers , students and members of the public .

There were two sessions, BHES I and BHES 2. BHES 2 had always been the afternoon session then and sharing the same facility till they they shifted to with about 2000 pupils and 70
teachers then.
