Ironman Malaysia Triathlon 2008, Langkawi

Come February 23, 2008 among the brave athletes and the gruelling obstacles, the fittest will survive in the Ironman Malaysia Triathlon 2008 at Langkawi. The participants would have to do 2 loop-swim, a biking and road running in the hot temperatures of Malaysia (approx 30 degrees Celcius).

A record 700+ competitors from 38 countries took part in 2007 enjoying a truly unique event that certainly lives up to it's billing as the "Toughest Show on Earth".

Langkawi is a cluster of 99 islands just off the coast of Kedah, close to Perlis and just south of Thailand. Pulau Langkawi, noted for its legends and beautiful views, is the most developed with good beaches, abundant marine life and offers an idyllic retreat from the urban jungle. It is also a duty-free port is a favorite destination for local and international visitors.
